General Description:

Big Moose Home Inspections, Inc. is a multi-inspector company that is quickly expanding and growing into multiple states. As the company grows, we are looking to add to our inbound call center team in Bessemer, MI. We are looking for a team player that possesses a unique blend of experience in the areas of call center operations, scheduling process, and sales. A basic understanding of real estate transactions, building and home components, and mortgage process is preferred. We offer a fast paced, upbeat working environment with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement. Part-time and full-time positions available. Pay starting at $12/hr and based on experience. 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Answering or making calls to assist our clients with booking appointments, answering questions and learn about their needs.
  • Responding efficiently and accurately to callers, explaining possible solutions, and ensuring that clients feel supported and valued.
  • Utilizing software, databases, and tools appropriately.
  • Understanding and striving to meet or exceed call center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
  • Making sales or recommendations for products or services that may better suit client needs.
  • Taking part in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of company and position.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • More education or experience may be preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
  • Understanding of company products, services, and policies.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills.
  • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations.
  • Strong time management and decision making skills.
  • Adaptability and accountability.
